We went to Rock Creek yesterday and were there for 15 minutes without any other kids. It was great the girls were able to run and play without having to share the space. It was a lot of fun!

Wes and I took the girls to Wild River Country the other day and Caroline was able to ride on a tube with Wes. She LOVED IT and each time they got off she pointed back to it wanting more! Alyssa Kate liked riding backwards.

The girls and I love to take a little walk everyday to get the mail and just get some fresh air. Alyssa Kate and Caroline were looking amazingly cute that day so I took a few pictures while we took our walk. You know how when you see someone everyday they don't seem to change well that is how it is with my girls. When I looked at the pictures after we came in I was blown away with how big they both looked. It makes me sad to think that they are growing up so fast...I just want to hold them close and treasure the time we have!

Aunt Ashley was our photographer for Caroline's first birthday and despite the mess they turned out really good. Sunday Wes bought a bike trailer so the girls can join him on bike rides. He has been biking a lot lately and is trying to get to 25 miles. Right now I think he around 15 miles in about an hour. He is a work horse!
Ashely brought big Jake over the other day and we got to play with him. Alyssa Kate loved holding him and Caroline loved playing with the Bumbo I got out for Ashley to borrow. Right before they got here Alyssa Kate sat in this bucket then couldn't get back out. Of course being the great mother I am I took a picture before helping her out :)

The church had a preschool play date today and Greyson was hanging out with us so I took the three little monkeys to play. We did story time first then it was out to the playground for water play. The kids loved it! It felt like it was 400 degrees for me because I was not in a bathing suit but they felt fabulous :)

It has been over a month since my last post! It is amazing to me just how busy our lives have been recently. We have has a lot of fun and I am thankful for that but also looking forward to some time of a slower pace. We have visited the Zoo, Wild River Country, done VBS, celebrated Caroline's 1st birthday, played with lots of friends, celebrated the 4th (one day early because I had to work) picked peaches and best of all met Dora (thanks to Wes dressing up like Dora for a Dad look-a-like contest) :) I am going to post a bunch of pictures from the month and attempt to do better from now on.
